The Monk Bar Group have a special White Peak Distillery cocktail menu on this month, with creative cocktails featuring our Shining Cliff Gins, Cask Aged Rum and Wire Works Whisky. There’s even a White Old Fashioned, made with our new make spirit.
They’ve been kind enough to share a couple of the recipes with us, so you can have a go at making them at home (although it’s always nice when a cocktail is made for you at Monk by a pro!)
Rock-a-Bye
Ingredients
37ml Shining Cliff Original Gin
15ml Italicus
15ml elderflower cordial
15ml sugar syrup
15ml lemon juice
1 egg white (or use 1 tbsp of aquafaba instead)
Ice (for second shake)
Method
Add all ingredients except the ice to a cocktail shaker or a mason jar and shake. Add the ice and shake again, to give the cocktail a foamy head. Pour the cocktail through a tea strainer or a fine sieve into a chilled glass, to stop any ice from going into the finished drink.
Rum Forest Rum
Ingredients
37 ml White Peak Cask Aged Rum
15ml banana liqueur
15ml hazelnut liqueur
25ml pineapple puree (or juice)
Ice
Method
Add all of the ingredients to a shaker and shake hard with ice, then strain the cocktail into a chilled glass and garnish.
