We can’t call ourselves a whisky distillery and not mark Burn’s Night! We ran our first Burns Night Supper in collaboration with the amazing Peak District Deli in January last year and enjoyed it so much that we are gearing up to do it all again.
Peak District Deli are husband and wife team Ralph and Lauren. They’re living the dream of bringing up a young family in the beautiful Peak District whilst working together to bring their passion of great food, Peak District produce and relaxed laid back dining to the good people of Derbyshire and beyond. If you have a special occasion, family event, or are on holiday, Peak district Deli will shop for the finest local ingredients and work with you to deliver a memorable dining event. You can book an online shop too, sure in the knowledge that food miles are low and you’re getting the best the Peak District has to offer.
This year we’ll be welcoming 32 guests through the doors to enjoy a four course supper in the regions first whisky distillery. The menu is created by Lauren in the weeks before. She’s passionate about using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, from suppliers they have built a relationship with. Waiting to see what’s available is all part of the excitement. Haggis will be on the menu, but not as we know it! We’re an english distillery, some rules don’t apply!!!
Max is selecting the whisky and it will include an exclusive tasting of our first bottling of this year’s 12-month aged single malt, released in September 2019. Keeping us entertained again this year is our friend Craig with his Irish pipes.
We’re looking forward to seeing all guests who’ve purchased tickets on the 25 Jan. The event has sold out, but watch this space for news on other events at the distillery for 2020.
