Tasting Notes
Sweet, juicy and oily, with vibrant tropical fruits such as pineapple, guava and papaya.
Nose: Jelly babies, icing sugar, grilled pineapple, white chocolate, lemon meringue, vanilla cheesecake, cashews, strawberries and cream.
Palate: Crème Anglaise, guava, papaya, ripe banana, delicate peat-smoke, shortbread, lemon curd, fennel.
Finish: Rhubarb and custard, candied ginger, orange marmalade, peppermint creams.
Wire Works Rum Cask Finish release is a dual maturation of our lightly-peated spirit, initially aged in first fill ex-bourbon barrels, then finished for two years in our very own fresh rum casks, all made on site and matured in our warehouse for full Derbyshire provenance.
A bright and juicy single malt whisky bursting with tropical fruits, complimented by our signature background smoke.
