Tasting Notes:

Browned butter, cinder toffee and orange on the nose, with fruit cake, nutmeg and crème caramel flavours on the palate, and lightly burnt toast, smoke, leather and caramel latte on the finish.  

Nose Butterscotch, orange fondant, marzipan and blackberry jam

Palate Fruit cake, nutmeg, char and stewed apple

Finish  Leather, smoke and creme brûlée

Over Smoke is a limited release of just 987 bottles, from three ‘STR ROS’ casks.. STR is a core part of our wood program and flavour profile and we have quite a variety. The three STR casks selected for this release have all been through an extra process of ‘re-charred over smoke (ROS)’ that we specified with the cooperage.  Over Smoke has been fully matured in these STR ROS casks and bottled at 53.1% ABV.
